Parkside living off the Malahide Road
Parkside, Balgriffin, Dublin 13
Some 220 homes have been sold at Parkside, a development located off Dublin's Malahide Road, since Cairn Homes first launched the scheme back in 2015. The Balgriffin estate is next to the 53-ac Father Collins Park, which has two playgrounds, a 1.5km running track, playing pitches and fitness stations.
Parkside, which is being developed by Cairn Homes, comprises three-beds popular among first-time buyers and four-beds billed at families trading up from apartments and starter homes. Indeed, the three-beds among a 20-unit phase released at Parkside in February have sold out, but ten four-beds remain. All are three-storey terraced houses, with sizes ranging from 1,612 sq ft to 1,755 sq ft, depending on the style chosen. The prices start at €375,000.
The properties have brick facades, complemented by high-performance windows designed lower to the floor than standard to allow more sunlight in. Inside are contemporary kitchens with high-gloss doors and island units. There are 9ft ceilings and recessed LED down-lighters throughout the ground floor.
Energy-efficient features at the A3-rated properties include PV panels to top up electricity supplies and a demand ventilation system that ensures fresh air is circulated around the homes without having to open the windows and risk letting the heat escape.
Viewings at Parkside will be held tomorrow, between 2:30pm and 4pm.
