Opportunity knocks in build's final phase
Knockshee, Blackrock, Co Louth
The Co Louth seaside village of Blackrock has become a hub for developers catering both to locals and to Dubliners priced out of the capital.
On Golf Links Road, where a third phase of Cnoc na Mara launched earlier this year, a final phase of 14 homes is coming on stream this weekend at Knockshee.
The BWH Developments scheme is beside the SuperValu in the Fairways Centre, where a new hotel is under construction.
Prices for the latest tranche at Knockshee start at €195,000 for a two-bed terraced house and at €225,000 for a three-bed version.
Each of the brick-and-plaster fronted houses has a tarmac driveway and a cobblelock path out front, a patio and garden to the rear, a shaker-style kitchen with a tiled splashback, a bathroom with chrome-heated towel rails and tiling, fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms, shaker-style oak interior doors, and an air-to-water heat pump for the central heating.
Knockshee is a five-minute drive from Dundalk and a few minutes' drive from the M1 corridor, while the M50 is 50 minutes away in light traffic. There are 13 departures a day to Dublin from Dundalk's train station.
Viewings at Knockshee will be held tomorrow and Sunday, from 2pm to 4pm.
