Ongoing builds will keep things busy in popular postcode
Hamilton Park, Castleknock, Dublin 15
Dublin 15 was amongst the busiest postcodes for property sales in the capital in 2017 and was one of the few Dublin markets to experience a plenitude of new homes going on the market. This trend shows no sign of abating in the new year, with 56 more properties released at Hamilton Park last weekend.
More than 200 houses and apartments have been sold at the Castleknock development since it was initially launched in 2015. The scheme, which is laid out around five acres of green space off the Carpenterstown Road, is being built by Park Developments Group. The company's recent projects in the leafy suburb include Bramley Wood, Carpenterstown Park and Luttrellstown Park. It plans to release a new scheme called Fernbank in Churchtown this spring.
At Hamilton Park, 34 three and four-bed semi-detached and detached homes, as well as 12 apartments, went on sale last Saturday. Ten of the houses are still available and all are from the new Osborne range, which is being marketed with a new showhouse. Starting prices for the Osborne (all the house types are named after Irish painters) range from €505,000 to €520,000. The house style is a 1,500-sq ft, four-bed semi-detached, three-storey design.
Interior features at the houses include custom-designed Nolan fitted kitchens with quartz countertops and built-in appliances, Brogan Jordan-fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms, and Grohe showers in the ensuites. The properties were designed to have either an A2 or A3 BER and are equipped with triple-glazed Rationel windows, an efficient gas boiler and have solar panels on the roof that heat domestic water.
Of the 12 apartments in the tranche, there are three one-bed apartments still for sale at the Orchard Hall block, with prices starting at €270,000, and six two-bed units at Bramley Hall that are priced from €330,000 apiece.
Hamilton Park is beside St Patrick's National School and is a five-minute drive from Castleknock village. Viewings are held every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 1pm. Enquiries to: Sherry FitzGerald New Homes (01) 6671888
