New phase may be answer to prayers
Churchfields, Ashbourne, Co Meath
Growing families and first-time buyers seeking more bang for their buck than they'd get in Dublin for the same price may find the answer to their prayers at Churchfields in Ashbourne, 20km from the city centre.
The scheme, first launched in 2016, is set amid grounds landscaped with trees native to the area and flowering shrubs - planted to attract bees, butterflies and birds. Churchfields will have 300 three-, four- and five-bed family homes when it's finished.
A new phase of the scheme is being released this weekend, with 25 properties for sale. Prices start at €330,000 for a three-bed home and at €375,000 for a four-bed.
The facade of each property is finished in Ibstock brick, with natural limestone in the window surrounds and sills. Internal features included as standard in the price are a fitted kitchen with a separate utility room, high ceilings to the ground floor, and tiled bathrooms and ensuites. Each home has an A3 BER.
Ashbourne itself is close to the junction of the N2 and M2 motorway. The showhouse is on view between 2.30pm and 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
