A combination of commuters from Dublin and local buyers has driven demand for homes at Cois Glaisín, a development in the Navan suburb of Johnstown, 40km from Dublin city centre.

The Co Meath scheme, the name of which translates as "beside the stream", will eventually comprise some 350 properties with.

Twenty three homes are going on the market this weekend, with prices starting at €225,000 for a two-bed, at €255,000 for a three-bed, and at €305,000 for a four-bed.

The front elevations at Cois Glaisín are finished either in a full red-brick or in a combination of red brick and cream render depending on the style chosen by the buyer. Each house has a driveway cobble-locked in Kilsaran paving that has enough parking space for two cars.

The interiors include a contemporary-style kitchen with soft-close doors from Gallagher Kitchens and shaker-style fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms.

The properties were designed to have a BER of A3. Cois Glaisín is just two minutes from the M3 motorway, 33km from the M50, and just 2km from the centre of Navan.

In addition, there are eight bus routes to Dublin city centre.
