Millionaires' row in Greystones scheme enjoys views of the sea and Bray head

Of all the commuter belt counties, Wicklow is typically not the most popular new homes location. Yet Greystones defies that trend. Since the market kicked back into gear, the area has been a notably favourite spot for prestigious new developments. SeaGreen, for example, launched in early 2017 to great fanfare. A development of three-, four- and five-bedroom family homes, it enjoys a stunning location on an elevated site that gives panoramic sea views.

Marina Village Greystones first launched in August 2016. And this weekend Glenveagh Homes releases a new style of four- and five-bedroom semi-detached homes in the development. The Burford is fashioned along the lines of the existing Tuskar show house, but with an extended kitchen to the rear. These new units enjoy views across the sea and of Bray Head.

With four bathrooms, and ceilings of approximately three metres at ground level, each unit runs to approximately 228sqm. Living rooms feature state of the art opti-V electric fireplaces. Double doors lead from the hallway to the kitchen and utility rooms, which are designed by Nolan's kitchens. Quartz stone worktops and Siemens appliances are included.

The master bedroom is located on the first floor, and includes a walk-in wardrobe and en suite. The possible fifth bedroom, which would equally work as a spacious family room, is also situated on this floor. This room enjoys beautiful sea views.

The top floor includes three more bedrooms and the family bathroom. All bathrooms have been completed with Villeroy & Boch sanitaryware, with high-quality porcelain tiles in all wet areas and bathroom floors. Luxury wardrobes with Shaker-style doors and washed oak veneer carcasses have been installed by Gallagher Kitchens.

These new units are priced at the top end of the scale, from €1,050,000. There is also one remaining Tuskar, a four- or five-bedroom unit, approximately 215sqm, for sale at €1m.

This spring a number of three-bedroom townhouses will also be released and sold off-plan, priced between €450,000 and €470,000. Completions are due mid-2019. New show apartments will be on view this summer, with a number of one- and two-bedroom apartments released. One-bedroom units will be priced from €425,000. Two-bedroom units will be priced from €535,000.

On completion, this development will include 358 homes in total; 158 houses, and 200 apartments.
