Maximising the light in Lucan apartments
Shackleton Park Lucan, Co Dublin
Asking price: €280,000
Agent: Hooke & MacDonald (01) 631 8402
Cairn Homes is building some 1,100 houses and apartments at Shackleton Park, just outside the former spa town of Lucan. The development has witnessed a slew of phases of houses go on the market since its initial launch in 2017, but the first apartments and duplexes only went up for sale last weekend.
Prices for the 15 units, which are selling off the plans, start at €280,000 for a two-bed apartment or duplex, and at €315,000 for a three-bed duplex. They will likely prove popular with single buyers or couples purchasing their first home.
The A-rated apartments and duplexes, which are still under construction, will have high ceilings to maximise the natural light flowing in from large double-glazed windows. A 50-acre public park will be built adjacent to Shackleton Park, which is just a five-minute drive away from Lucan Village and 10 minutes from Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
During light traffic, the N4, M50 and N7 are accessible in under 10 minutes.
The train from nearby Adamstown Station to Heuston Station takes about 22 minutes.
