Lucky 13 still on the market for buyers
Castle Heights, Carrigaline, Co Cork
Castle Heights is set about 1.5km outside Carrigaline, a large satellite town 12 miles south of Cork city that has surged in popularity among commuters. A new phase of Castle Heights was released in February, and 13 are still on the market.
The three and four-bed semi-detached homes at the Kilmoney Road scheme are aimed at first-time buyers, while the four-bed detached properties are targeted at trader-uppers. The houses are being sold off the plans, but the selling agent expects a showhouse to open on the site by July. Of the remaining properties, two are three-bed semis measuring 1,330 sq ft and costing from €310,000, eight are four-bed semis with 1,575 sq ft of accommodation and starting prices of €345,000, and three are four-bed detached homes spanning 1,996 sq ft and priced from €435,000.
At the four-bed detached styles, buyers have a PC allowance of €8,000 for a kitchen, utility and wardrobes, as well as €1,000 for a fire surround. The allowances at the other styles amount to €7,500 for a kitchen, utility and wardrobes, and €1,000 for a fire surround. The A-rated properties have a brick-and-render facade.
Viewings at Castle Heights will be held tomorrow, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. Enquiries to: Savills (021) 427 1371
