A long water fountain forms the centrepiece of Waterside, a Malahide development that originated during the Celtic Tiger.
During the boom, the Cannon Kirk Group developed about 550 apartments, duplexes and houses at Waterside, which is located on the Swords Road, about 3km west of Malahide Village. Cannon Kirk returned to the site after the property market recovered from the crash to construct entirely new homes.
The last six four-bed houses have just come on the market at Waterside. Each of the semi-detached homes extends over 1,604 sq ft and costs from €525,000. The facades of the two-storey houses are finished in a combination of brickwork and painted render, with sandstone to the sills of the grey double-glazed windows. There is a flat canopy over a grey front door, which has glazed panels to one side. Each house has enough parking for two cars in the decoratively paved front driveway, while the rear garden comes with a paved patio.
Inside, there is a dual-aspect living room up front and, to the rear, there is a large kitchen/diner with a sliding door that opens on to the back garden. The custom-fitted and tiled kitchen comes with a stone worktop and integrated appliances.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are fitted with built-in wardrobes. The bathrooms and ensuites come with extensive wall and floor tiling, sanitaryware and heated chrome towel rails.
Viewings of the showhouse are by appointment.
