Ledwill Park in Kilcock will especially appeal to first-time buyers willing to commute to work in Dublin in exchange for lower monthly accommodation costs - the development is a 10-minute walk from the train station, with the journey to Connolly Station taking about 45 minutes.
The scheme is being built beside Kilcock GAA Club's playing pitches. More than 70 houses have been sold since it was first launched in May, when the development became one of the largest to go on the market in Ireland to date. When the Glenveagh Homes estate is finished, it will comprise 430 homes arranged around green open spaces.
The second phase of some 30 homes will be released at tomorrow, with prices starting at €285,000 for a two-bed house. The three-beds range in price from €295,000 for a terraced version to €320,000 for a semi-detached style, while the four-bed houses are priced from €420,000.
The houses have a combination of render and brick to their front exterior, though some styles have a full-brick façade and a slate canopy. At the heart of the interior is a fitted contemporary-style kitchen from Gallagher Kitchens, which also supplied the bedroom wardrobes.
Other transport links include the M4 interchange, with off-peak travel time to Dublin of about 40 minutes. Bus Éireann runs routes 115 and 115A from Kilcock to Dublin via Mullingar.
The showhouses at Ledwill Park will be open for viewings from 11am to 1pm tomorrow and Sunday.
