Golfing a part of Odin's Way of life
Odin's Way, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16
Golf enthusiasts who purchase a home at Odin's Way in the sought-after suburb of Rathfarnham won't have to go too far to practise their swing - the development is right across the road from the entrance to the Grange Golf Club.
The scheme of traditional four-bed family homes, which was launched in February, is nestled just off Taylor's Lane, at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.
As well as being situated close to the award-winning golf course, Odin's Way is near St Enda's Park - once home to revolutionary Padraig Pearse's school - and Marlay Park.
The development is being built by Rosemount Properties and has been designed by Rowe McGill, the architects behind The Ramparts apartments in Loughlinstown and Rosehaven in Castleknock. There will be 30 semi-detached, detached and terraced properties in total when Odin's Way is eventually finished. All are laid out over two and half floors, except for a single-storey gate lodge due to be released in a later phase.
Before the property market winds down for the summer break, a second tranche at Odin's Way will be released.
For now, there is just one property available from the first phase, namely a four-bed semi that's priced from €595,000.
Inside, the painted shaker-style kitchen units, supplied by Brendan Gallagher, are in a classic solid ash and come with a Silestone Blanco maple quartz worktop, upstand and island unit. The property, like its neighbours, was designed to have an A3 BER.
