Odin's Way, set at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains in Rathfarnham, is just across from St Enda's Park, where the Pearse Museum houses the former school where Easter Rising revolutionary Pádraig Pearse once taught.

Rosemount Properties is completing 30 terraced, semi-detached and detached homes at the three-acre Rathfarnham site, which is just off Taylor's Lane, opposite the entrance to the Grange Golf Club. The final phase of the development, which first launched in 2017, went on the market at the end of March.

There are still four properties available from the last phase, which comprised five four-bed terraced homes laid out over three floors. Sizes range from 1,560 sq ft to 1,647 sq ft and prices start at €615,000.

Designed by Rowe McGill Architects, the houses have a brick-and-render façade, a slate canopy over the front door and double-glazed windows throughout. All the properties in this phase have a south-facing aspect to the back garden and patio, so prospective residents can enjoy sunlight throughout the day.

The garden has a plastered block wall to the rear boundary, with timber fencing dividing the garden from neighbouring properties. To the front, planting separates the cobble-lock driveway from that of the adjoining homes.

Inside the block-built houses, there are 9ft-high ceilings throughout the ground floor. In some of the styles, the living room has a front box-bay window, with all the terraced designs coming with a contemporary-style electric fire as the space's focal point.

There's another lounge area in the extended kitchen-diner to the rear. There, two skylights and a bank of glazing that incorporates a set of French doors to the garden make the most of the south-facing aspect.

Gallagher Kitchens supplied the hand-painted shaker-style kitchen in solid ash and the smart island unit, which doubles as a breakfast bar. The kitchen comes with Silestone quartz worktops and upstands in Blanco Maple, as well as under-counter lighting.

Integrated appliances, such as a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and eye-level oven, are included in the purchase price if contracts are returned with a full deposit within 21 days. The utility room, meanwhile, is fitted with worktops, storage presses and is plumbed for a washing machine and dryer.

There are three bedrooms - one of which is ensuite - and a family bathroom on the first floor, though one of those bedrooms could be used as a home office. The master bedroom suite and its walk-in wardrobe occupy the second floor. The first-floor bedrooms are fitted with contemporary-style wardrobes, while the walk-in wardrobe to the master bedroom has a wood-and-walnut veneer finish.

The bathrooms and ensuites come with ceramic floor and wall tiling supplied by Project Tile, as well as mono-block chrome fittings. Each ensuite is fitted with a large walk-in shower and there are heated towel rails to both the main bathroom and the master ensuite.

An A-class air-source heat pump provides energy-efficient central heating and hot water at the A3-rated houses, while a heat recovery ventilation system removes stale, moist air from the kitchen and bathrooms and uses 90pc of the waste heat energy to warm the sitting room and bedrooms.

Odin's Way is a few minutes' drive from Junction 12 of the M50 motorway, making Dublin city centre a 25-minute drive during light traffic. Dundrum Town Centre and the Luas green line are just a short drive away.

Viewings of the Odin's Way showhouse, which was fitted out by Elk House Interiors, are by appointment.
