Fully furnished and ready to go in tiny rural Galway village
Croí An Bhaile, Carrabane, Co Galway
Carrabane, between Athenry and Loughrea in Co Galway, is among a slew of tiny rural villages in the southeast of the county catching the eye of house hunters priced out of Galway City's housing and rental market by high prices and a dearth of new homes.
At an estate called Croí An Bhaile in Carrabane, new-builds were released to the market last month to cater for such demand. Among the six properties currently available is a three-bed mid-terrace house with 1,130 sq ft of accommodation that's priced at €159,000, while end-of-terrace versions of the same size cost €169,000.
The homes are being sold fully finished and ready for soft furnishings. All have an A3 BER and are equipped with energy-saving features such as an air-to-water heating system.
Croí An Bhaile is 5km from Loughrea and 1.5km from the M6 motorway access point, from where Galway City is about 36km. There is a national school near the development.
Viewings at Croí An Bhaile will take place on Tuesday at 6pm or by appointment.
