Four three-bed detached homes in Mallow
Clonmore, Mallow, Co Cork
Mallow, the crossroads of Munster, saw its first residential development in six years when Clonmore was launched in the spring in the north Cork town's Ballyviniter suburb.
Not that Clonmore was brand-new: O'Flynn Construction began selling it in 2007 before the property crash led to the scheme being put on ice. As the market recovered, O'Flynn finished out 10 semi-detached and detached homes at Clonmore and put them on the market in February.
The three- and four-bed semi-detached designs in the tranche have all been sold, leaving four three-bed detached homes still for sale. Each of these has 1,409 sq ft of space - a pretty sizeable property for a three-bed - and they are selling for €270,000 apiece.
These detached homes are located to the front of the Clonmore development and have their own entrance from the roadway. However, as the homes were designed and started a decade ago, they have a C1 energy rating.
Mallow, the oldest town in the Blackwater Valley, is increasingly becoming popular with commuters from Cork city.
