Ross Allta, the name of a high-end Galway development on the Rosshill Road, originates from the Irish for 'wild wood' due to the 8.5-acre site being surrounded by Merlin Woods.
There are two houses remaining from the first phase of the 16 extra-large houses, with prices ranging from €725,000 to €750,000. Both have independent access to the public road.
There are ten house types in all at Ross Alta, with sizes going from 2,551 sq ft to 3,057 sq ft.
They were designed by local architects O'Neill-O'Malley.
The homes have exteriors finished in a combination of natural stone and render, with tall UPVC windows and glazed doors.
The front and back gardens, driveway and patio are enclosed by a boundary made from natural stone walls and post-and-rail fencing.
Inside, buyers have PC sums for the kitchen, stove, bathrooms, tiling and bedroom wardrobes. An air-to-water heat pump provides underfloor heating to the A-rated properties.
As well as its close proximity to Eyre Square, Ross Allta offers easy access to the M6.
