Enjoy park life in west of the capital
The Park at Hansfield, Hansfield, D15
The Park at Hansfield is so named because it centres around a five-acre park that's earmarked for playgrounds, walking paths and playing fields.
The scheme is based in an area that was singled out by Fingal County Council in the early noughties for fast-track planning. Hansfield sits to the north of a green belt running west from the Phoenix Park, through Farmleigh, Luttrellstown, Westmanstown and on towards the Carton Estate in Maynooth.
After Hansfield Wood, a scheme launched in 2016, was sold out, the developer, Alanna Homes, set about building a new development called The Park at Hansfield. The final phase of houses at The Park was released last weekend, though apartments at the scheme will come on stream at a later stage.
The latest release comprises 16 three-bed semi-detached houses belonging to two different styles. Prices start at €365,000 for the Heather, which measures 1,184 sq ft, and at €380,000 for the Holly, which is a tad larger, at 1,281 sq ft.
The facades of the Delphi Architects-designed homes are finished in a combination of brick and monocouche render. The front door, as well as the double-glazed patio door and windows, come from Munster Joinery.
Inside, there is an Irish-made custom-designed kitchen with soft-close doors and drawers. Extensive wall and floor tiling, as well as sanitaryware and heated chrome towel rails, come as standard in the bathrooms and ensuites, while the bedrooms are fitted with contemporary-style wardrobes.
The homes were designed to have an A3 BER. Each is fitted with a Joule air-to-water central heating system. For commuters, the neighbourhood is served by the 39 and 39a bus routes and by Hansfield train station, while the M50 is a 10-minute drive away.
Viewings of the showhouse, which was fitted out by Spirit and Style Interiors, will be held tomorrow, from 1pm to 2pm. Enquiries to: Sherry FitzGerald New Homes (01) 667 1888
