Donacarney Wood, a development near the village of Mornington, is set on the grounds of the eponymous Donacarney House, a 19th-century country house.
The 80 four- and five-bed semi-detached and detached family houses being developed at the scheme are interspersed with landscaped open spaces beside the Donacarney demesne's woodlands.
This weekend, some 18 months after the launch of the development, will see the opening of a new four-bed semi-detached showhouse to coincide with the release of a new phase.
Prices in the latest phase start at €292,500 for a 1,281-sq ft three-bed semi-detached style with a study, while a four-bed semi with 1,507 sq ft of living space costs from €325,000. A larger four-bed detached design, measuring 1,636 sq ft, is priced from €375,000.
The properties are finished in a combination of brick to the front bay, with champagne-coloured render to the remainder of the facade. The burnt-red clay tiles to the roof are echoed in the canopy over the hardwood front door, and there is sandstone to the sills of the Alucad windows and to the stringcourse. The ground floor has 9ft ceilings and a kitchen from McAuley Kitchens.
The scheme is 5km from Drogheda, from where there is a train link to Dublin and Belfast.
Viewings of the new four-bed semi-detached showhouse at Donacarney Wood will take place from 2pm to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
