The commuter town of Naas, which has witnessed a slew of new developments over the last three years, continues to be a hive of activity, with new phases released recently at Castle Farm, Bellingsfield and Elsmore. This weekend will see the last release of about 20 three, four and five-bed homes at Furness Wood, in the Johnstown area of Naas. Prices in the final tranche of the 52-unit Ardstone Homes scheme range from €360,000 for a three-bed semi-detached property to €550,000 for a five-bed detached. In the Brannockstown part of Naas, there is one four-bed detached home selling at Grangemore Manor, a small Stanley Residential scheme, for €550,000.

On Rathangan's Bracknagh Road, about 10km from Kildare town, a release of three and four-bed homes will go on the market at Rathangan Manor this weekend, with prices starting at €245,000. The scheme appeals to commuters and will have 72 homes when finished.

In the Liffey-side dormitory town of Clane, the second phase of Abbottfield will launch later this month. The upcoming phase, which follows the original March launch of the 90-unit development, will comprise 15 three and four-bed homes, with prices starting at €320,000.

In Maynooth, showhouses will open for the first time this month to market the next phase of 25 homes at Mariavilla, which launched off the plans earlier this year. The Cairn Homes scheme, which is being built on the grounds of the 18th-century Maria Villa, is one of the largest residential developments earmarked for the university town, with 460 homes planned.

Also in Maynooth, the final 20 three, four and five-bed semi-detached and detached houses will be sold later this autumn at Moyglare Hall, with prices starting at €450,000.

Meanwhile, Southport Homes will release the first of 34 three and four-bed homes planned for Lyreen Lodge this autumn in Maynooth.

Killross Homes intends to release 10 three-bed homes at its 170-unit Westfield development in Leixlip later this month, with prices starting at €410,000.

Also in Leixlip, this September will see seven four-bed homes go on the market at The View, St Mary's Park, while Glenveagh Homes plans to launch Barnhall Meadows, a scheme of three and four-bed houses, in the town in October.

In Celbridge, the third phase is planned for this autumn at Castlewellan Park. When finished, it will consist of 79 homes.

In Ardclough, a brand new 42-unit development called Williams Grove is due to launch this autumn. Westconcorde is developing the two, three, four and five-homes with prices starting at €305,000. In Rathcoole, meanwhile, sales have begun at Green Lane Manor, where Stanley Residential is building 55 houses.
