First-time buyers on a budget who want an easy rail commute to Dublin city centre are the target market for St Josephs, a new development located about 450m from Clonsilla train station.
Castlethorn Construction is developing 103 homes at the scheme and launching the first 37 houses from a marketing suite this weekend. There is a whole slew of house types available off the plans in the initial release, with prices starting at €315,000 for a mid-terraced two-bed spanning 1,005 sq ft.
A three-bed mid-terraced style with 1,083 sq ft of living space costs from €340,000. A three-bed end-of-terrace design measuring 1,260 sq ft is priced from €390,000, while a semi-detached version of that style is selling for €405,000. Prices for a 1,491-sq ft, three-bed semi with a study and two living rooms start at €435,000, while the sole four-bed detached style in this tranche measures 1,561 sq ft and costs from €500,000.
The houses will have a façade finished in brick and coloured render, and a fully fitted kitchen. The kitchen will come with appliances including a fridge-freezer, an electric oven/hob, a dishwasher, a combined washer/dryer and an extractor fan if signed contracts are returned within 28 days.
There will be fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms and sanitaryware in the bathrooms and ensuites. PV panels on the roofs of the A3-rated homes will generate free electricity.
St Josephs is located 13km west of Dublin city centre and a five-minute drive from the shops, restaurants and the cinema at the Blanchardstown Centre.
The St Josephs marketing suite will be open from 2pm to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
