Castletroy scheme brooks no argument
Castlebrook manor Castletroy, Limerick
Asking price: From €259,950
Agent: Sherry FitzGerald Limerick (061) 418000
The once-rural village of Castletroy, now a fast-growing suburb of Limerick city, was transformed by the development of the University of Limerick campus and by the opening of the M7 motorway to Dublin.
Off the "old" Dublin Road sits Castlebrook Manor, a new scheme of three and four-bed detached, semi-detached and terraced homes. The first two phases of Castlebrook Manor will comprise 150 properties.
A showhouse opened last weekend to market the initial 21 houses at the scheme. Prices for the three-beds start at €259,950 for a 1,195-sq ft mid-terrace design, at €270,000 for an end-of-terrace style with the same floor space, and at €280,000 for a semi-detached type spanning 1,163 sq ft. There are two styles of four-bed detached properties available: a 1,232-sq ft four-bed that costs from €360,000 and a larger unit, which extends over 1,561 sq ft, priced from €425,000.
The front exteriors of the A-rated homes feature both brickwork and render.
Internally, the contemporary-style kitchen units from Kube are fitted with satin-grey doors.
Viewings tomorrow and Sunday, from 11am to 1pm.
