Rooms with a view are the raison d'être at Strand View, a new scheme of apartments and penthouses in the seaside town of Bray that overlooks the Irish Sea.
Some of the 39 properties being developed on the Strand Road site by McEleney Homes have uninterrupted views of the coastline, Bray Head and across to Dalkey Island. All the apartments have large double doors that open on to a glass-fronted balcony and residents have access to a roof garden.
The first 12 homes are now selling off the plans. Prices start at €320,000 for a one-bed apartment ranging in size from 530 sq ft to 575 sq ft, while a two-bed apartment with between 815 sq ft and 975 sq ft of living space costs from €415,000. The three-bed apartments are priced from €545,000 apiece and measure between 1,065 sq ft and 1,165 sq ft. There is also one two-bed penthouse for sale that spans 880 sq ft and is selling for €675,000.
The A-rated apartments have an open-plan internal design. The kitchen area has contemporary-style fitted units with soft-close doors and drawers and a countertop. The integrated kitchen appliances are supplied if contracts are signed within 21 days.
Each bathroom has monobloc chrome fittings and there is floor and wall tiling to the bathroom and the ensuite. The latter also has a fitted shower screen.
Strand View is a few minutes' walk from Bray Dart Station, and access to the N11, which links up with the M50 motorway, is nearby.
