Balbriggan build with a nod to history
Glenveagh Taylor Hill, Balbriggan, Co Dublin
The name of Glenveagh Taylor Hill, a new development launching in the north Co Dublin seaside town of Balbriggan this weekend, is a nod both to the Taylor family, who owned the town's Ardgillan Castle for more than 200 years and to its developer, Glenveagh Properties.
The scheme will start selling off the plans tomorrow and 26 houses are being released this weekend. Glenveagh Taylor Hill consists of two, three and four-bed homes and prices start at €245,000 for a two-bed house, at €270,000 for a three-bed, and at €335,000 for a four-bed.
The largest style is the Starling, a four-bed detached property spanning 1,624 sq ft. The Dove is a four-bed semi-detached design with 1,582 sq ft of accommodation, while the Swallow is a three-bed version measuring 1,223 sq ft. The Finch is a three-bed terraced style extending over 1,098 sq ft, while the Wren, a two-bed terraced home has 953 sq ft of living space. Externally, the two-storey houses are finished in a mix of brick and render with two parking spaces each. Internal features include a contemporary-style kitchen and an A-rated central heating system.
Viewings of the development plans will take place at the onsite marketing suite tomorrow and Sunday, between 11am and 1pm.
