Expanding families and first-time buyers seeking more bang for their buck in Ashbourne than they'd get in Dublin for the same price may find the answer to their prayers at Churchfields.

The scheme, located 20km from Dublin city centre, first launched in 2016 and will consist of 300 three, four and five-bed family homes when it's complete. Churchfields will see a new release of 25 properties go on the market this weekend. Prices start at €330,000 for a three-bed home and at €385,000 for a four-bed.

The front exterior of each house at Churchfields is finished in Ibstock brick, with natural limestone to the sills and surrounds of the double-glazed windows. Internal features included as standard in the price are a fully-fitted kitchen with a separate utility room, high ceilings to the ground floor, tiled bathrooms and ensuites, and extra storage throughout.

The homes were designed to achieve an A3 BER, with the help of features such as a low-energy demand ventilation system that ensures a constant supply of fresh air into the home without letting the heat escape.

Ashbourne itself is close to the M2 motorway. Viewings tomorrow and Sunday, between 2.30pm and 4pm.
