A scheme in which to Grace your presence
Grace Park Wood, Drumcondra, Dublin 9
Strong demand is expected for this weekend's release of the second phase of 25 homes at Grace Park Wood in Drumcondra. Indeed, when the initial tranche of three, four and five-bed houses at the scheme was launched in May, would-be buyers queued up outside in the rain with their deposits in hand.
The development is popular both because of its location and setting: it is situated just off the eponymous Grace Park Road, in a north Dublin suburb prized for its period red-brick houses on tree-lined streets. Grace Park Wood has a 2.7-ac park to the front, with mature redwood and oak trees, and is surrounded by protected structures, such as the neighbouring Drumcondra Castle, which dates back to the 16th century.
The scheme is being built by Castlethorn Construction. The second release is located on the north east of the site and will have a new showhouse to market the five-bed homes. However, prices have only been set for the three-bed terraced homes, which cost from €490,000. The interior finishes have also not yet been finalised.
Commuters can reach the city centre, which is 3km away, from the train station at Drumcondra or the Dart from Clontarf.
Viewings will take place tomorrow and Sunday, from 2pm to 4pm.
