House-hunters in North County Dublin with a penchant for quasi-rural living are the target market for Castle Manor, a low-density development in the picturesque village of Naul.
The scheme of 28 four-bed detached homes in the village - colloquially known as the Naul - is being developed by Joey Moore of SAC Construction, the company behind Comyn Manor in Swords and Cluny Manor on the grounds of St Joseph's of Cluny school in Killiney. The first five houses at Castle Manor, which is located on Naul Hill Road, go on the market this weekend, with prices starting at €465,000.
Because of its location, the houses at Castle Manor have a traditional design that's in keeping with Fingal County Council's Rural Design Manual, a set of guidelines governing roof styles, window designs and external finishes. There is a painted nap plaster finish to each house, with granite to the windowsills and slate to the roof.
The double-fronted homes measure 1,650 sq ft. Each one has a plot size ranging from 56ft to 69ft in width, which creates space for a large garden and a front driveway big enough to accommodate four cars. The homes are less than a four-drive minute from the M1.
The Castle Manor showhouse will be on view from 11am to 12pm tomorrow and Sunday.
