Apartments and duplexes are going on the market for the first time at Churchfields, an Ashbourne development that to date has consisted of houses aimed at first-time buyers and growing families commuting 20km to Dublin.
More than 300 houses have been sold at the Cairn Homes scheme since the launch of Churchfields beside Ashbourne town centre in late 2016. However, 30 apartments and duplexes are also planned for the scheme.
Eight of those units are being released tomorrow, with prices starting at €250,000 for the two-bed garden apartments, which range in size from 877 sq ft to 1,015 sq ft. The three-bed duplexes, which are priced from €290,000, have between 1,322 sq ft and 1,364 sq ft of living space. The latest tranche also includes three-bed terraced houses costing from €340,000 and four-bed semi-detached properties priced from €385,000.
Designed by McCrossan O'Rourke Manning, the apartments have a brick-and-render façade, with a rear garden to the apartments and a paved patio for the first-floor units. There is soft planting to both the front and rear gardens of the apartments.
Nolan Kitchens supplied the white high-gloss units to each kitchen, which also comes with Electrolux appliances. The bedroom wardrobes come from Cawley's Furniture, while the bathrooms and ensuites have tiling in a white matte finish to the floors and wet areas.
The gas-fired central heating system can be thermostatically controlled at different zones, and a demand-control ventilation system automatically monitors indoor air quality and extracts moist air.
Churchfields is located just off the R135, close to access to the M2 motorway, which provides a link to the M50.
Viewings at Churchfields will take place from 2.30pm to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
