The name of the Millerstown development in Kilcock, on the Kildare-Meath border, was inspired by the town's history of water-powered mills.
The McGarrell Reilly Group scheme, which overlooks where the Rye river runs parallel to the Royal Canal, was originally launched in November 2017. There will be some 150 homes in the housing estate when it's eventually finished.
After 25 houses were sold in the wake of a March release from a new three-bed showhouse at the Maynooth Road scheme, the selling agents are putting a further 15 houses on the market this weekend.
Prices start at €327,500 for a three-bed semi-detached house with between 1,238 sq ft and 1,292 sq ft of living space. The four-bed version, which measures between 1,464 sq ft and 1,582 sq ft, costs from €395,000, while the five-bed detached style has between 1,690 sq ft and 2,379 sq ft of accommodation and is priced from €500,000.
A variety of façades for each house style nicely mixes up the streetscapes. Inside each home, there are extra-high ceilings throughout the ground floor. The kitchens are in a contemporary design from Kitchen Elegance.
The A3-rated homes are a short walk from Kilcock station, from where a train to Dublin takes about 45 minutes.
Viewings at Millerstown will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm tomorrow, or by appointment.
