As co-owner of CA Designs, a furniture business that sells 20th century design replicas, Una has brought a classic but contemporary twist to her bright and welcoming home

" I guess I would call my interior style eclectic. I love all design approaches from mid-century style pieces, pattern, colour, antique to contemporary, all mixed together. For example I like the contrast of my CA Design Eames style office chair paired with my antique, very battered, dining table."

“Don’t get too caught up with trends, they come and go... stick with what you like rather than what you feel you should like.  Try not to have everything matchy-matchy. It’s too contrived and don’t get me going on themes!”

“My favourite part of my house would have to be my kitchen, the hub of the house. Here, I sit in my 1950s tub chair reading, listening to the radio, chatting with friends and looking out on my garden. I also moved my piano into the kitchen and I have been known to bang out a tune or too while waiting for the kettle to boil!”

"The interior designer that exemplifies all that I love in interior design and whose look inspires me constantly is Kit Kemp. She is a genius!"
