Within a Ninch
Ninch has become a slang word meaning every last little bit of something. It's also the original name for Laytown, Co Meath – An Inse in Irish.
'The Ninch' looks like a holiday cottage with sea views situated off Laytown's Strand Road. However, this 'cottage' actually measures 2,153ft.
All the bedrooms are on the ground floor leading off a 280 sq ft entrance hall. All three have doors leading to the patio, and two have en-suite bathrooms. The main bathroom is also on this floor.
The entire first floor is given over to a kitchen/dining/living room measuring 38ft by 19ft. There's a fitted kitchen in the room. Double doors open onto the balcony from here.
The beach is just 100m away, and buses to and from Dublin, 50km away, stop on the Strand Road. The Ninch in Laytown is for sale through Sherry FitzGerald Lannon (041 983 8168) for €200,000.
