Twice the size of your average family home by the sea in Co Wexford

Knockroe, Ardamine, Courtown, Co Wexford Asking price: €475,000 Agent: Property Partners O’Brien Swaine (053) 948 1708
What kind of property does €475,000 buy you in Dublin? A quick online search brings up a 657 sq ft two-bed apartment in the sweet-sounding Pudding Row in Temple Bar, an 870 sq ft three-bed semi in need of modernisation in Rathfarnham and a recently renovated 614 sq ft two-bed period cottage in Clontarf.
Which is all par for the course. Like any capital city, the closer you are to the centre of Dublin, the higher the price. However, even at the risk of comparing apples and oranges, it is nonetheless interesting to see just how much more bang for your buck you get outside of the city.
