Fuchsia, cerise, rose, ruby, coral, carmine. How many words are there to describe pink? This three-bedroom penthouse apartment has them all.

The home is decorated with an eye to the feminine and the new tenants will find a brightly tailored, contemporary living space, but also more light than you can throw a stick at to see it all in its glorious vividness.

Located in Bray, Co Wicklow near the town centre, this property at Wilford Court is open plan with the entire living area spread out over one large space. A hall/lobby area leads into a galley kitchen, with integrated appliances, finished with cream cupboards and marble countertops.

The kitchen looks bigger than it is since there are no separating walls from the main living space but its floor is tiled to give it a distinct footprint and sense of its own space.

There is also a breakfast bar and, yes, even the kettle is pink.

Elsewhere, there are polished oak floors which showcase the minimalist furniture - storage cabinets, a six-seater dining table and a large L-shaped sofa, which acts as an effective room divider, facing the floor to ceiling windows, which bring in all that light from this south-facing unit.

There are three bedrooms with the master ensuite and a separate bathroom. Outside and accessed from the kitchen via double-doors, is the wrap-around balcony which is furnished with a table and chairs, along with plants dotted about.

Heating is by gas and internet and cable television are installed. The development is built securely behind electronic gates and there is residents' parking provided.

The apartment is near the Corke Abbey site at the crossroads for Old Connaught Avenue, at Little Bray, so Bray Main Street is a short walk with Shankill in the other direction.

The M50 link road is less than 500m away, as is the N11 to the South. Bray has a Dart station and a quality bus corridor for access to the city centre.

The agent says the property would be an ideal let for a corporate firm or three professionals sharing. As long as they like pink!
