Take Four: Garryhankard House

What: Georgian residence and stud farm with formal gardens Where: Garryhankard House, Upton, Innishannon, Co Cork. THE Georgian property is a standard five-bedroom house that was completely transformed in the 1980s by two owners, Paddy O'Sullivan and James O'Mahony.

Mr O'Mahoney embarked on a re-modelling of the house that included the addition of a 25m swimming pool complex, luxurious internal finish, and a state-of-the-art stabling block.

The main house now comprises a reception hall, sitting room, study, kitchen, dining room, drawing room and breakfast room.

The Garryhankard House estate also includes a three-bedroom coach house, a two-bedroom gate lodge and a two-bedroom staff cottage.
