Stay on track with the great outdoors
Parkside, Balgriffin, Dublin 13
Parkside, a development launched in 2015 in the north Dublin neighbourhood of Balgriffin, is well named: it's next to the 53ac Father Collins Park, which has two playgrounds, a 1.5km running track, playing pitches and fitness stations, and is opposite Mayne River Park. In addition, a new linear park south of the first section of Parkside is opening soon.
The scheme, which is being developed off the Malahide Road by Cairn Homes, comprises three-beds popular among first-time buyers and four-beds targeted at families trading up. More than 300 of the properties have been sold to date, and a new batch of 20 three and four-bed houses at the scheme is going on the market tomorrow week.
Depending on the house type chosen, sizes in the upcoming phase range from 1,205 sq ft to 1,776 sq ft. Prices for the three-beds, some of which have roof trusses designed to ease a future attic conversion, go from €350,000 to €360,000. Starting prices for the four-beds range from €385,000 to €400,000.
The properties have red-brick façades, complemented by a matte green door.
Inside are contemporary kitchens with high-gloss doors and peninsula units. There are 9ft ceilings and recessed LED down-lighters throughout the ground floor.
