SeaGreen launches new house style

Wood Group Homes is releasing a new house style at SeaGreen, a low-density development on a hill overlooking Greystones and the Irish Sea.
The first phase of the Chapel Road scheme was sold out in the wake of its initial launch in early March. As a result, Wood Group Homes is now bringing a four-bed semi-detached house type to the market at SeaGreen.
The show house for the 1,464 sq ft homes will open for viewing for the first time tomorrow, between 2pm and 4pm, and prices start at €455,000.
SeaGreen will eventually be made up of 180 three, four and five-bed homes, all of which will have private gardens and 3.3ac of amenity lands spread across seven separate areas of open space.
Designed by PD Lane Architects, there are two exterior options for the traditional-style homes. One exterior type has a mix of brick and render finish with a copper canopy over the front door, while the other is full brick. Both have granite windowsills and quoins, as well as triple-glazed timber windows. There is a cobble-lock driveway out front with permeable paving made from natural stone. To the rear is a garden and a patio.
Extra touches at SeaGreen include outside lighting, recessed lighting indoors, a wall-mounted electric fire in the living room, and a Velux Cabrio roof window in the four-beds that turns into a balcony.
All of the house types will have a fully-fitted kitchen incorporating solid hand-painted timber doors, granite or stone worktops, all appliances included as standard and a separate utility room. The main bedrooms will feature luxury wardrobes with classic painted doors. The A2 rated homes will have a gas-fired and solar-enhanced heating system, solar thermal panels and thermostatically controlled radiators throughout.
Prospective buyers with families can avail of the two newly-completed primary schools nearby and the new TempleCarrig secondary school. The Dart station at Greystones is a 15 minute walk from SeaGreen and there are also regular bus services to Dublin city centre, as well as access to the M11 and M50.
