No need to splash out too much in Waterside

Waterside, Dungarvan, Waterford

Whether it's water sports, walking or cycling, the new owners of these houses at Waterside in Dungarvan will be spoilt for choice.

The opening of the new Waterford Greenway cycle and walk path, which runs all the way to Clonea Beach, encompassing 45km of public amenity, has brought a new lease of life to the south east.

In full, it will run from Dungarvan to Waterford City and plenty of local businesses have popped up already to facilitate the new tourists along the route, from cycle hire to cafes and tours.

Along with the development's location overlooking the Colligan River, it means nobody will be short of things to do on a day out. For those that prefer retail therapy, Dungarvan town is just under 1km away.

There are 11 properties here in what is the Abbeyside townland - eight three-bed semi-detached and three four-bed detached.

These are aimed at the first-time buyer and initial trader-upper. The three-bed is priced at €179,000, meaning it's well within the Central Bank deposit guidelines for a 10pc deposit.

Finished in plain white render with a black uPVC window trim and front door, the three-beds are over two storeys.

A traditional layout of kitchen/dining room, with a utility to the rear, is complemented by a living room and WC up front.

One of the three bedrooms is ensuite and there is a separate family bathroom.
