Inside Lady Gaga's $10k-per-night Coachella Airbnb - complete with 360° mountain views
While the rest of us prepare for a summer shivering in rain soaked tents at Irish music festivals, Coachella's elite kicked off the season with the most enviable of festival digs, including Lady Gaga, who spent her down-time chilling out in a luxurious Airbnb.
The Applause star stepped up to headline the festival last week after Beyonce was forced to pull out, and was chauffeured from the stage to a dreamy $12m (€11m) desert mansion in Rancho Mirage, scouted out on the popular website.
The 9,500 square-foot desert property boasts incredible 360° mountain views, a resort-size pool and three-fire pits, to warm-up during the typically cool desert evenings.
Gaga and her entourage enjoyed the crib's seven bedrooms, and elite fitness centre during the star's stay.
The singer took to Instagram to thank Airbnb for putting her up in luxury for the duration of the festival, which ended on Sunday.
"Thank you @airbnb for my desert home. A wonderful gift," she said, sharing a photograph of herself alongside a fireplace in the home.
The plush rental might have been a delightful gift for Gaga, but just one night in the desert would set an average Joe back $10k (€9k).
