Holiday like an Obama but in Hawaii not Moneygall
The US president’s holiday home can be snapped up for €8.4m.
The luxurious Hawaiian holiday home regularly rented by US President Barack Obama and his family has come on the market for €8.4m.
The property, which is located near the idyllic Kailua beach, boasts top notch mod cons, a newly installed kitchen, a large airy master bedroom and a garden full of palm trees.
Barack spent his winter breaks from 2011 to 2013 in the 13-bedroom home with his wife Michelle, two children and mother-in-law also in tow. To stay in the luxury pad the president forked out €2557 per night.
One of the main features of the property is a lagoon shaped pool in the front courtyard, equipped with dramatic waterfall features and a master bedroom the size of the average city apartment.
The first family is not the only A-List resident to cross the threshold of the luxury home as Bradley Cooper, Angelina Jolie and Charlie Sheen are also believed to have stayed there in the past.
While Barack seemed to deeply enjoy his working holiday to Ireland and popping into his cousins in Moneygall, it can’t be argued that his home state is a lot more desirable when seeking out the perfect escape.
