The village of Drumree was once a bustling spot. The Midland Great Western Railway stopped there, and there was even a hotel, the Spencer Arms, which later became a pub and post office. Across the road from that building is the entrance to Penny Lane, a sprawling house at the end of a 350-metre avenue. Built in 1990, it has 20 acres of land around it including stables and paddocks. The nearest village to Castleview House is Johnstownbridge. Getting there entails transgressing against county loyalties though, as Johnstownbridge is across the Blackwater River, in Co Kildare. Castleview House is a couple of hundred metres north of the river, and has a half-acre of its own with decking, patios and a water feature. Inside there are five bedrooms (three en suite), one on the first floor, along with a study and games room. Two more reception rooms and a kitchen are downstairs, in an overall floor area of 4,560 sq ft. The M4 motorway is two minutes' drive away.

You're just about within cantering distance of the Grand National at the Steeplechase development in Ratoath. Fairyhouse racecourse is about three kilometres away.
