Escape the daily grind in Ashfield
Ashfield Place, Templeogue, Dublin 6W
Ashfield Place, a small development of contemporary-style family homes, is situated on the site of the former Ashfield College grind school, in the centre of the Dublin middle-class village of Templeogue.
The scheme of 16 homes, which launched last weekend, has replaced the college, which relocated to Dundrum Town Centre in 2015. The new incarnation, Ashfield Place, is on the Templeogue Road, almost directly across from the village's tennis club.
The development's three and four-bed houses, which were designed in nine different styles, are set behind a family-friendly green space with a play area. The homes are being developed by Richmond Homes, the company behind Castle Vernon in Clontarf and Dawson Place on Arbour Hill.
Of the 16 houses in the scheme, eight are still for sale. Prices start at €710,000 for a three-bed-plus-study style measuring 1,591 sq ft, and at €785,000 for a four-bed (some of these also have a study) with between 1,673 sq ft and 1,834 sq ft of space.
Designed by McCrossan O'Rourke Manning, the houses have facades finished in a mix of brick and render, enough parking for two cars in the front driveway, and a private garden to the rear. Inside, there are 9ft ceilings throughout the ground floor and a custom-designed kitchen in a light-grey shaker style with quartz worktops and upstands, pelmet lighting, and soft-close doors. Appliances are included if signed contracts are returned within 28 days.
Viewings will be held between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow and can also be arranged by appointment.
