Almost new energy-efficient home in Stillorgan has room to relax

The Luas website offers helpful information about each stop on both the Red and Green lines, including 'Things to Do' in the locality. Under the Kilmacud stop, however, Luas informs us that "there are no things to do near this stop".
Residents of this Dublin 14 neighbourhood might disagree.
The Beacon South Quarter shopping centre is nearby, along with Imaginosity, the children's museum, and various restaurants, and you've got Ballawley Park and playground within a kilometre or so.
About seven minutes' walk north of the Luas stop is the Stillorgan Gate development, a recent build by Caye Construction.
Number 8, at the end of a terrace set back from Kilmacud Road Upper, was sold new in 2017 and is now back on the market still in pretty mint condition.
It measures 2,098 sq ft on three floors, with almost the whole second floor being given over to a master bedroom suite - a top-floor sanctuary for whoever's paying the mortgage and hence feels they deserve it.
At one end of the bedroom are double doors to a front-facing balcony, and at the other end there's a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower.
There are three more bedrooms below that, on the first floor, all with fitted wardrobes and one with an en-suite shower, and there's a bath and shower in the main bathroom on this level.
The ground floor has a sitting room to the front, with double doors leading to an L-shaped kitchen, dining room and sunroom at the back with sliding doors to a south-facing garden.
As a newish build it's eco-friendly, with energy-efficient heating and insulation giving it an A3 rating, and there are PVC sash windows to the front.
Management fees here are €827.12 a year.
No8 is for sale for €875,000 with Sherry FitzGerald Dundrum (01) 296 1822.
