Five things you must visit at this weekend's Interior Design Event

house Set: Ireland’s top interior designers go head-to-head with the task of creating their dream room. Visitors can vote for their favourite ‘Contemporary Irish Style’ room and enter into a competition to win a free home consultation with the designer of their choice.

Art Loft: This feature aims to show how unique, quality art can transform and revive a home. Contemporary artists including Gill Hennessy, Ruthie Ashenhurst, Theo Hanley, Roland Byrne and Balla Ban Art Gallery will be at the loft. Visitors have the option of getting a commissioned piece which reflects their own aesthetic.

Inspiration Stage: Industry specialists deliver talks on topics such as ‘The Fundamentals of

Architecture’ and ‘Designer-Client Relationships’ throughout the weekend.

Colour Consultants: Colour clinics will be provided by leading experts to help visitors choose the right schemes.

The Design Stage: Top architects and interior designers take part in a series of talks offering smart design advice and savvy makeover tips.
