The townland of St Doolagh's is named after St Doulagh, about whom very little is known other than that he was a seventh-century anchorite - a type of hermit who confined himself permanently to a cell.

Annaghmore is a detached house built in the late 1970s, about 200 metres from St Doulagh's church and holy well. It's 2,583 sq ft with the six bedrooms all on the first floor, along with a bathroom.

Downstairs there's a kitchen and three reception rooms - lounge, dining room and triple-aspect sitting room - and another shower room.

Coundon Court is a cul-de-sac estate off Killiney Avenue, and No20 is tucked into a corner at the back of it, in a fortunate spot with a quarter of an acre of southerly gardens.

Inside, it's 2,605 sq ft with a drawing room, living room, kitchen and family room arranged around an L-shaped hall on the ground floor. There's also a wet room and guest toilet on this level, and another bathroom upstairs, along with the six bedrooms, of which two have en-suites. The house also has an integral garage with double doors to the front.

There's a strong atmosphere of Old Clontarf about No124 Clontarf Road. It's across the road from Clontarf Baths, and its 0.3-acre grounds back onto Clontarf Lawn Tennis Club.

The house itself is a relic of a more genteel age too, with its 1930s features and that 168ft garden dotted with gnarly old trees, not to mention the seaside views to the front.

It's 1,889 sq ft, with five bedrooms upstairs and the sixth, with en-suite shower, downstairs. The ground floor also has a sitting room and dining room with sliding doors between, and an extended kitchen and family room with French doors to the garden.

Only one well-to-do couple, together with their brace of servants, was living at House No8 at the 1911 census. The selling agents advise though that it could be easily turned into houses for two families (or more). This is because the lower two of the four floors have their own entrance, as do the upper two.

The main entrance is on the first floor, where there are two reception rooms and a kitchen, with four bedrooms upstairs on the second floor. There's also a front entrance at ground level, with a study, playroom and utility, while the basement has two bedrooms and a living room. The house measures 3,498 sq ft.
