20 homes on offer in third phase of Piper's Hill four-beds
Piper's Hill, Naas, Co Kildare
A third phase of four and five-bed homes has come on stream at Piper's Hill, a development outside the canal-side town of Naas designed to tempt city dwellers seeking plenty of bang for their buck in the commuter belt.
The scheme is about a kilometre from the centre of Naas, near the Victorian manor hotel Kilashee House. It's being built by Sean Mulryan's Ballymore Group, one of the biggest builders of quality residential homes before the bust.
After the initial launch of Piper's Hill a year ago, a second phase of 30 homes followed in March. There will be 117 homes in all when the scheme is completed.
The latest release consists of 20 properties, including a new house type called The Meadows. The names of the house styles at Piper's Hill reflect the development's landscape - there is a wildflower meadow of marigolds, poppies and cornflowers growing beside the site.
The Meadows is a four-bed, two-storey property extending over 2,050 sq ft. It is priced from €370,000, while the five-beds cost from €595,000.
Piper's Hill is about a 50 minute drive to the centre of Dublin, traffic permitting, while Newbridge is a 15 minute drive.
The development is on a bus route that serves local towns and commuters to Dublin can also use the rail service from nearby Sallins.
