Here's your chance to see Diarmuid Gavin's award-winning garden for free in Dublin
Diarmuid Gavin is bringing his prestigious garden show to Dublin for green-fingered Irish fans.
The celebrity gardener is bringing his Garden of Pure Imagination installation from the Chelsea Flower Show to Dundrum Town Centre from May 20.
And it's quite the spectacle - it will take three weeks for him and his team to build and Gavin is bringing his trademark embellishments to the unique space, which will include a special display every 15 minutes where the garden "is transformed into a whirlwind of mechanical imagination, with flowerbeds rising from the ground, twirling trees and a wooden shed that comes to life full of cogs and gardening gadgets."
"It's always a delight to bring a garden from Ireland to the Chelsea Flower Show but it's a rare treat to bring one back home," Gavin said.
"We are beyond excited at the prospect of revealing the Dundrum Town Centre Garden of Pure Imagination, our first ever Chelsea exhibit to be recreated for public enjoyment. Adapted to fits its new home in the grounds of Dundrum Town Centre, it has been preened and perfected, cogs and wheels have been oiled, blossoms, leaves and stems polished while the team and I get digging again."
The exhibit will be on display at Pembroke district throughout the summer and is available free of charge for shoppers of all ages.
