Drumnigh Manor, off the eponymous Drumnigh Road in Portmarnock, is a new scheme beside Drumnigh Wood, a Celtic Tiger gated community that once counted former Westlife star Brian McFadden and his then-wife Kerry Katona amongst its residents.
Shannon Homes is building 200 three, four and five-bed homes at Drumnigh Manor, which launched in early April. All the house types have maritime-themed names in keeping with the scheme's location in the north Co Dublin coastal suburb.
The cheapest home currently available at Drumnigh Manor is a three-bed selling for €515,000. A slightly larger three-bed style with a family room costs from €530,000, while the four-bed-plus-study design is priced from €560,000. The five-bed houses, which measure between 2,088 sq ft and 2,153 sq ft, are priced from €650,000.
The houses have a facade finished in a combination of buff-coloured clay brick and off-white render. There is a canopy over the grey-toned engineered timber front door and UPVC windows throughout. Permeable paving and soft planting line the front garden, with a paved patio to the rear garden.
Nolan Kitchens supplied the handle-less painted kitchen and quartz worktops, while the fitted bedroom wardrobes come from BeSpace. The ensuites have contemporary-style shower enclosures with fitted shower screens.
The A2-rated houses have provision for an electric car charging point to the front and are equipped with a Daikin air-to-water heat pump for heating and hot water.
