Here are our favourite random acts of 'Powering Kindness’ this week
As the ‘Powering Kindness’ campaign comes to an end, we recount some of the most heartwarming gestures and actions.
The #PoweringKindness movement was spurred by the Marie Keating charity alongside Electric Ireland.
The aim was to partake in a random act of goodwill and share it on social media, to help the charity win €60,000 for families affected by cancer.
The charity was set up by Boyzone star Ronan Keating and his family members after the death of his mother Marie. She bravely lost her battle to breast cancer in 1998, aged just 51.
As part of the high profile organisation’s latest effort, Ronan engaged in his own act of Powering Kindness as he surprised busy shoppers with cakes and treats from Broderick’s.
Here are some of our favourite #PoweringKindness posts - remember, there’s two days left before the campaign finishes and it’s not too late to get involved.
