A free public talk on living life after a stroke will take place on November 30 in Dublin. Healthcare and research experts will look at the challenges people will experience after having a stroke, including how it affects patients' everyday life, mood and cognition.

There is a variety of rehabilitation options and community services available to stroke patients and their families.One in every five people in Ireland will have a stroke in their lifetime and the lecture will provide information on the stroke services centre in Beaumont Hospital, which is moving towards improving stroke patient care throughout Ireland.
