Do you consider yourself to have a healthy lifestyle?
Yes. My mother is an acupuncturist and a homoeopath so we have always had a culture of natural, preventative medicine in our family.
Do you exercise regularly? If so, what do you do?
I'm out of my routine at the moment as I am home, but in LA I would exercise at least a few times a week.
Do you do it willingly or begrudgingly?
Sometimes I am on a big fitness kick and look forward to working out and other times I have to force myself to do it.
What time do you go to bed?
At the moment, I don't get to bed before 1.30am. It takes quite a while to unwind after the rollercoaster that is this play.
What time do you get up in the morning?
I wake up late in the morning 10.30 or 11am. Unless I'm shooting something. Then I could be up as early as 5am.
What do you have for breakfast?
Breakfast for me is traditionally a bowl of porridge with lots of different seeds and fruit and natural yogurt. I also like fresh fruit smoothies and juices and would have a couple of tablespoons of Udo's Choice omega oils in my juice every morning.
Everything is a bit topsy-turvy with my schedule now so I have a big meal at home before I leave for the theatre. I'm staying at my parents' house so I am being completely spoiled with delicious homemade meals.
Anything from an amazing curry to paella or fresh fish.
Right now, as I'm getting home so late in the evening, I have a naughty snack about 11.30pm. Such a bad idea, but unfortunately it's what my body is demanding after running around the stage for almost three hours!
Do you take any supplements?
Aside from my daily dose of Udo's oil which I have been taking for almost 15 years now, I often put a couple of spoons of Power Greens into my water and sip that.
How much water do you drink?
I would generally always hit my 1.5 litres of water target a day. I drink extra when I'm flying as I find it helps with the recovery.
Do you have a skincare routine?
I use a facial exfoliating brush on my skin and I'm religious about putting sunscreen on my face and neck in LA.
I can resist everything except temptation! Chocolate, cheese, wine - I absolutely love food.
If I could change one thing about my lifestyle it would be…
Having to deal with jetlag. The eight-hour time difference and the 5,000-mile journey can take its toll.
