Free public talk on life after stroke
A free public talk on living life after a stroke will take place on November 30 in Dublin. Healthcare and research experts will look at the challenges people will experience after having a stroke, including how it affects patients’ everyday life, mood and cognition.
There is a variety of rehabilitation options and community services available to stroke patients and their families. One in every five people in Ireland will have a stroke in their lifetime and the lecture will provide information on the stroke services centre in Beaumont Hospital, which is moving towards improving stroke patient care throughout Ireland.
The lecture will be held at thr Royal College of Surgeons from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Register at rcsi.ie/myhealth. For those who are unable to attend on the night, the lecture will also be live streamed at rcsi.ie.
