SHE may still be three months off giving birth, but Jessica Simpson is already under pressure to shed the pounds she put on in pregnancy, after signing up to WeightWatchers in America.
The singerand her American football player fiancé Eric Johnson are expecting their first child in the new year.
According to sources, the has been “fielding offers from a number of weight-loss programs,” but has now decided on a final one.
“The deal is in place, and after having her baby, she’ll start with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight,” a source told the New York Post.
The contract states that Jessica has one year to use the point-counting system to "lose a significant amount of weight".
Recent reports claimed that Jessica is concerned about her pregnancy weight gain and has hired a private chef to help her out.
“Jessica has been indulging in salty foods like chips and extra guacamole,” an insider recently revealed. “At this rate she could wind up gaining 70lbs before she gives birth.
“Jessica hired a chef to help her cut calories and make sure she’s eating the right foods.”
Weight Watchers US relies on celebrity endorsements and previously had Sarah Ferguson and Jennifer Hudson as brand ambassadors.
